Introduction

Labor Day weekend is a prime time to upgrade your tool collection, and Milwaukee is offering a significant discount on its popular 18-volt seven-tool combo kit. Whether you're tackling long-overdue home repairs or building a DIY foundation from scratch, this deal makes it easier to get professional-grade gear without the professional-price tag.

What Happened

Ace Hardware is running a Labor Day promotion that drops the Milwaukee 18V M18 Cordless 7-Tool Combo Kit to $549, down from a list price of $1,170, that's a 53% savings. The kit is available both online and in-store through Monday, September 7. It's designed to cover the most common tasks around the house, from hanging fixtures to minor demolition and everything in between.

Why This Matters

Milwaukee has built a reputation for durability and battery longevity, and this combo set reflects that. The tools share a single 18-volt battery platform, meaning you can swap batteries between the drill, saw, and multitool without needing separate chargers for each. For anyone expanding from a basic kit or starting fresh, the included sawzall, circular saw, angle grinder, and oscillating multitool provide immediate capability for cutting, grinding, and trimming, while the drill and impact driver handle drilling and fastening jobs efficiently.

Key Takeaways

  • 53% off brings the kit down to $549 from $1,170
  • Includes drill, impact driver, one-hand sawzall, circular saw, angle grinder, oscillating multitool, work light, two 3-Ah batteries, charger, and a tool bag
  • All tools run on the same 18V M18 battery system, expanding easily as needs grow
  • Batteries are rated for long-term use, often lasting a decade with regular care
  • Ideal for beginner and intermediate DIY projects like mounting TVs, building shelves, or replacing fence boards
  • Impact driver and drill bits are sold separately; the kit does not include them
  • Sale runs through Monday, September 7, available at Ace Hardware
